How will we use AI and how can it be done sensitively?

It is too late to even comment if using AI is a good idea or not, if there ever was a time to convince people AI is too dangerous, it's long gone, and so is the idea that people will make a decision if AI is good or bad, for clearly not either is true.

It is even too late to try to convince people to choose one way or another, but it is the time when we can talking about what people are actually doing AI, so those watching can under stand what is happening. And in come cases move a physical, financial, or political change to be where something dangerous is likely.

Another amazing busy week

It seems that finally seen temperature has come up and the rains are done for at least three days so I have five things in the week. It is finally dry enough so I can get any leaves that blew into my garden and quickly pull them out and into paper bags to have the garbage taken away for mulch. For fun I have two different leagues of trap shooting competitions and I would like to get out at least twice this week for practice, because I have to shoot in two different counties on Sunday.

All of my cats are getting older and I have three cats who should go to the vet in the next few weeks. One is very old and losing a bit of weight, one is very old and refuses to let me clip his toenails and has a little bit of your cleaning which has not completely taking care of my usual work. In addition I have to brush them about an hour a day during the time when they are all changing from winter to summer Furr's.

Finally one of my cars had a problem starting where it almost started and ran on three cylinders for a while which could be a little bit of condensation causing a little bit of water in the gas. I checked on all of the usual things and the electric and gas pumps are all working fine so the next most likely thing is to add a bit of water biter or similar to clean it up. Now that the weather is better I got out the sports car again and had it washed, and now it is time to take it up to have the annual inspection and wallet is there to have a new Collision bag replaced, since the old ones have not been found to be completely save. Only my truck has absolutely nothing to be work done, and since the backup screen has been installed it is everything I need to all stuff around.

Buffet at the end of a winter trap 3 month competition

Today was the buffet for the end of the trap shooting league for three months of shooting in the absolutely terrible weather conditions. I was shooting so badly in that weather that I wound up winning The B class.

The night before I finally got a full sleep of as much as I wanted, with a break in the afternoon with my kids to go to a liquor store and buy another bottle all of the Single Barrel Bourbon. I have enough of what I have been drinking to last me with one shot every night at bedtime while reading a book.

A bad Saturday after the Labor Holiday

There were way too many things to do on the weekend after the Holiday, but since I am doing to a banquet tomorrow,  I thought I should put other things out until the end of the day.

As part of my recovery from my stroke, I have been doing a lot of shooting trap, since it takes some driving to a match, do practicing defore, getting equipment defore and cleaning after, etc. All good things to keep me getting in condition. Since I would be shooting "for fun" Sunday, I thought I should practice at a place I only visit one a year for competition. It was about a hour getting there, but I was told that active people would be there.

When I got there I found that it was open, and people were active, but not for trap. I wound up spending morning for nothing, but when I got home I could go to Italian or Greek food, and/or and Art exhibit. It was so interested that every one came, and it took me 25 minites to just get the last four blocks home. I had to walk back, the parking was almost zero, and even the space to walk was hard. I enjoyed the music, didn't wait in line for food, and enjoyed the afternoon, but found it a bit too much and I walk (and often eat) to the area a few time a week.

Saturday evening I tried to get to sleep early, but didn't sleep for a few hours after I was in bed.

If it looks like a bigot...

I see that Israeli has passed a law given self-determinalion only to Jews. To think it the real meanings see jus cogens rule, the modern international law. From now on only the citizens who are Jews can make (or unmake) what the national is and means.

Note that the constitution seems to means something else, but that seems to be ignored now.

Electric passenger airplanes?

When I was young I designed and built my own electric bicycle. And I certainly have been interested in Norway because my grandfather came from there, although it was before 1926 so it was technically Sweden. But when I saw that they are now planning on making planes for short distances which will be electric only, I admit that I didn't have the first thought of wanting to try it. I have driven cars with electricity, and when there is a problem use pull to the side of the road and resolve the problem. Somehow I have a different feeling about riding in a plane because there have been enough problems with current planes which have had electricity cause fires.

I am not against the idea, but I think I will wait until it's been running for a while before I will try it out.

Talking with some friends you have never physically met

I met a discussion about how long ago people started talking electronically two people that they had never physically met. I was surprised to remember that it was sending code through ham radio. Somewhere back in the 1950s.

It then went 2 voice discussion over CB radio, and back to typing when multics had the first email, which originally was not even between multiple computers. Since then it has moved until currently there are probably a dozen of ways to talk to people in the Millions, and probably at least 100 in small connections.

The oldest was Morse Telegram. That moves back into the end of the 1800s. January 11th 1838 to be exact.
